Illustrator- David Downtown

I have been a long time admirer of David Downtown's illustrations. I've got a whole file of images I've pulled from magazines over the years of his work. Here are a few of my favorites.

Gorgeous. The color is so vivid. I bet they are so much more beautiful in person. Great art!

Those are lovely! I am picturing my future movie star walk-in closet with these prints framed on the wall.

These are wonderful.I love them all! The style looks very similiar to some Guerlain ads of the 1960's. i wonder if it is David? I will have to do some research.

ooooo....I love them all!! I'm such an art nut and always find myself drawn (no pun intended ha) to images of women. I actually looked around my house the other day and realized every painting and print I own is of a woman, usually the profile, from all different periods in time....how strange. Maybe now that I'm single I could look in to the possibility of becoming a lesbian..lol...totally kidding :)

and thank you for your kind words...I will find love again! and you'll be able to read all about it :) *hugs*
