Loving...

Patek Philippe Ref. 5101R 10-Day Tourbillon Watch

Gorgeous, isn't it? Do you think it's 100K gorgeous? Me neither. The 51.7mm x 29.6mm rectangular case is made of 18k rose gold, with corresponding hands and Arabic hour markers (Breguet style) on the face. Attached to the art deco inspired case are brown crocodile straps. A lovely looking Patek Philippe watch with its true value, the tourbillion movement, hiding under the hood . Interested to know what a tourbillion movement is and why it commands such a premium this article by The Luxist explains.

100K?! Wow...that's a house. I love rose gold though.

Oh the watch is stunning. It stopped me in my tracks. I could never in a million years, no matter how much money I had, justify spending that much on it.

I just don't understand how they can justify the cost. I have a rose gold cartier La Dona. It's all gold!! This little house/watch has a crocodile strap! Who are they kidding?
