I Have a Crazy Mad Crush On a Big Boy!

You MUST click on the pic below to enlarge (it's mandatory)!

Take an up close look at these eyes! Aren't you in love?
Meet Big Boy. I can tell you with certainty if I weren't already overwhelmed by 5 cats this hunk of cat boy would be mine. Can you even get over the stunning Caribbean Blue color of those eyes? This guy is special! My neighbors across the street are his current guardian angels but this Big Boy needs a forever home. He's getting more affectionate each day as he gets over the trauma of being dumped and having experienced two weeks with the local Human Society (poor boo).

Anyone got room in their hearts and home for this stunningly gorgeous boy?

Read the plea he wrote on my neighbors blog...

God, am I handsome or what? Someone dumped me during the bitter cold weather. Not being accustomed to the homeless life, I was beat up by the neighborhood bullies and came down with the most awful upper respiratory infection. Some very kind folks nursed me back to health and dropped me at The Humane Society for adoption with explicit instructions not to kill me after the two week waiting period. Well, I’ve been back in their backyard now for quite some time now since nobody wanted me. My caregivers feel I am adoptable and would make a very good house cat with the proper love and training. I almost ended up in suburbia last weekend after one of their guests fell in love with me. Oh well, for now I am quite happy in the warmer weather with just being fed. By the way, these kind people actually mix Vitamin C in my food to keep me healthy and cared enough to have me neutered.

Love, Big Boy

Big Boy is a cutie! With 5 cats, what's one more?? This lady agrees with me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9P1DmgXOCg

The difference? Divorce.

Five is a handful and I wouldn't recommend it per se. It just happened out that way. I would never have sought it out deliberately.

I do hope this guy gets a home though.

Aww, you pull at my heart strings. He's so beautiful. And yeah, five pushes it. We had three at one point and I think that's about all my hubby can take :o) Hope he finds a great home soon!

Bless your heart for trying to find Big Boy a home. If I didn't already have two I would consider it. Hopefully there's a good real-life home out there in the blogosphere waiting for this sweet guy.

This boy is beautiful. If I didn't have 2 cats (3 if you count Boomer twice) I would snatch him up. Hope someone takes him and gives him LOTS of LOVE.

Mom,

Boomer is more than 2 cats. He should count as a Continent he takes up so much land mass. He's awesome. I love him so.

Big kisses to Boomer, Hillary and little Miss Buffy. Oh yeah, and to the humans of the house as well.

You left the sweetest comment and I accidentally rejected it as I was on my cell approving it and the links were to close :( I wanted to thank you though.

I miss having cats, I gew up with the sweetest cats and have not had one since, I keep thinking about it..

Thanks for remembering the humans. You are the best and I say that from humans and cats.

Leigh, now would be the time. The shelter are overrun with all the spring litters.

I know this sound counter intuitive but it's much easier to have two than 1 they keep each other company and are MUCH easier to socialize.

Maybe go to a shelter and see if any of them 'speak to you'. I always think they pick you instead of the other way around.

Big Boy is so beauiful, what a gorgeous eyes!! every time I see another cat I wonder to adopt another one..Brilli needs a friend!

They usually do well with others once they get over the initial betrayal of you cheating on them with another!

My heart is aching for Big Boy! He's so adorable and deserves a warm & loving home. What area do you live in? Your profile does not say. If you were somewhat local to me, I would be VERY tempted...

Of course, there's the husband to consider. And an 11-year-old chihuahua pound-puppy that HATES all of the neighborhood cats! Hmm. I'm afraid the odds are against me.

Anthony,

Hey there! I'm usually not all about the rescues they just happen to pop up sometimes and I can't NOT give them face time in the hopes.

I'm in the NYC area (literally 15 minutes outside Manhattan) I don't say in the profile because I'm on the lamb (I kid!).

He really is a gentle soul. maybe you can sell it, just don't get a divorce over it.

Townhouse - you are absolutely right. If you are gonna get one, then just get two. Not much more work and they can be HIGHLY entertaining. Or they can be like mine and you just never see them because they are in hidey holes sleeping 23 1/2 hours a day. *sigh*
