I'm still trying to get around the whole "Marrying your first cousin is ok" idea.
When my husband and I went to get our marriage license, one of the questions the lady asked us was if we were first cousins. My husband and I looked at her funny and were like, "Not that we know of. Why?" and she responded by saying that it was totally ok because it was legal in the state of Florida...good to know.
My first vision concerning this type of marriage has always been some backwoods toothless neantherdals furiously humping doggy-style and then spewing forth cross-eyed spawn. Lo and behold, a former landlord in a ritzy area of NJ and who apparently runs his own tech business announces his impending nuptials to his first cousin. We were so sickened by this we just had to leave. I agree, WTF!
