My husband is a native of The Lower East Side so we're always intrigued when we see new places opening. This one has me really excited.
Hmmm...I wonder what this is going to be?
Fatta Cuckoo, Neopolitan cockney for "to make crazy" is set to open it's doors next week. Owners, married couple Martin Kirchoff and Leah Tinari describe the reasonably priced fare as "seasonal American food with an Italian influence". Manning the kitchen is chef Brett Ackerman of Marlow & Sons and Diner so it's safe to say the food will be impressive.

Oh no, more punishment chairs!
I think these are officially called "no dawdling" chairs.
Get 'em in, fill 'em up, ship 'em out.
Love the name. But LOL @ the "punishment" chairs!
