Flat Out Beauties

I am in desperate need of some new flats for kicking back and hoofing it around town. Here's a few I'm contemplating.

No, you won't find the done-to-death Tory Birch Reva flats on the list because whenever I see someone wearing them I think, "I want everyone to know I'm wearing a Tory shoe. See, the giant medallion proves so!" Ugh, no thanks.

Taryn Rose 'Bobble' Flat

Jessica Simpson 'Edison' Flat

Sam Edelman 'Candela' Flat

Taryn Rose 'Bess' Flat

Ruby & Bloom 'Grace' Flat

Steve Madden 'Bravvoo' Flat

All available at Nordstrom

I have that same JS Edison flat, and love it. The pointe shoe-esque toe is so cute, and they are very comfortable.

I'm also a big fan of Taryn Rose, because one of my best friends was a Taryn Rose (among other brands) buyer at Neiman's for two years, so subsequently, we all got into Taryn Rose. Also very comfortable.

I have to also recommend some of the Cole Hann flats, that are so cute and also have the Nike Air thing going on.

And finally, I love my flashy gold leather, gold medallion, Tory Burch Riva. But I own it - they totally make me a label whore. I also own two pairs of Coach signature flats, but in my defense they are black, so the "C" isn't so brazen, and they were stolen from my Mom's closet.

I LOVE my heels, but at 5'8, sometimes you need a good, cute flat!

The last ones are awesome! A good pair of flats go a long way.

Believe or not, I can get horrible blisters from flats. One of the few brands that is consistently comfortable is Sam Edelman. I might even order the pair that you posted...they are perfect with the color scheme of my fall wardrobe!

That last pair for sure. The 'Margaret Thatcher doing French style' look is so chic.

As much as I hate to say it, I have 2 pair of the Jessica Simpson flats (similar to the ones shown) and they are the most comfortable shoes EVER. I had a silver pair that I literally wore a hole in. And I have some Reva flats in leopard and I love them, I too must be a label whore (like Megan above):o) Ha! I can't recommend Cole Haan with Nike Air enough - I had a bunch of those when I lived in NYC. Wore those suckers out - worth every penny. Geox (I hope I spelled that right) are good too! Happy hunting!

They all look horribly narrow and uncomfortable to me.

Those J Simp ones are surprisingly cool...I've been loving that blocked ballet shoe look lately. I will forever adore the Christian Louboutin flats, as well as the Lanvin ones that looks sort of similar, but $500 is completely insane.
