BeaUuuutiful........you have an eye for great design THL. I'll say it again, I love the music you post. Get's my morning going! Happy weekend to you my friend ~ deb
No kidding David. I have a friend that will literally spend thousands on things and come home only to tell her husband how much she saved. "Honey, I am the BEST shopper, guess how much I saved on this bag?? $1,100-!! Who's better than me?"
Some time back, I made a promise to myself that once a year I would buy a luxury item (within reason..Valentino not falling into that category). I have a Furla red croc and those shoes you have seen. Now that I am a homeowner, well, let's just say those items have taken on a new dimension: appliances I can't wear.
When this bag hit Net-a-Porter, it sold out almost immediately. Which is crazy -- there's a wait list of people who are going to buy a $5000 sparkly bag? Le sigh...off to keep looking for my money tree!
The one luxury item per year idea is fantastic. So true about the homeowner thing. Our appliances were the last luxury items we purchased. To be soon followed by a new sofa (So far I'm still copying yours. I haven't found one that I like better that suits our needs).

We can always wait until it goes on sale for $3500.
Can we share it with another 98 people?!
I'll take the $400 knock off.
If I want sparkly things in the $4000 range it's gonna be jewelry.
Thanks Dumwit!

the blue sparkliness is calming me greatly at this moment. why do the prettiest things have to cost ridiculous amounts of money?
