Jewelry Designer- Melinda Risk

Maybe I like this because it is one of my favorite childhood nursery rhymes . Then again, maybe it's just beautiful.

Sing a Song of Sixpence

Amethyst in the center is the pie surrounded with its crust sitting in the pie pan. Two carved ebony birds with the 22 other birds represented by the diamonds circling the band.
For information please go to Melinda Risk's website here.

On my blogroll...under your blog name...there is a weird pic of a large hairy dude with rabbit ears doing something strange. I can't find a post remotely resembling this on your blog. I wonder why it's there?!

LOL! I actually posted that pic for 15 minutes the other day as an inside joke to my friend Rob who said he'd gone to a very strange doctor that morning. The pic was from D-Listed and he can't access it from work so I posted it just so he could see. I promptly removed it without even thinking that it would remain out in the ether until I posted something new.

I love amethyst but this ring is just a little too goth for me.

Maybe it's part of my Tim Burton Halloween fix I have going on at the moment.

This looks like the ring in Sleeping Beauty when the queen opens the center and pours out the poison!

I agree with the gang - very storybook'ish. Absolutely charming!

I second the Sleeping Beauty reference. Was I the only one who was pulling for the witch/Queen aka Maleficent (fab name) in that movie?!? She was so delish and fierce (oh no I sound like Tyra). Aurora was so yawn... Yeah, I have an inner dark side :o)
