For little boys (or hip, urban girls) they have high tops too. So precious. Some of my girlfriend's babes have them. My other favorite crib shoes are "Heelarious."
I'm on board with the mary janes too! I have tried in vain to put cute things on my child, but she is one of those kids that can't let things be. Rips off her socks, pulls out her adorable hair clips (check out no slippy hair clippies they are adorable and all handmade), tears off her pacifier clip and all of these end up crammed in her mouth. So now my adorable little girl has hair like Einstein, always is barefoot and throws her pacifier at anything and everything. *sigh* :o)
Oh even better, I go to a mothers of preschoolers thing every other Tuesday (yeah, I know - gah, but I gotta meet peeps here) and the kids stay in little age appropriate groups during that time. Well, when I went to pick her up after the first time there the "teacher" (when I pointed her out) said "Oh, her, well, she's a little firecracker. We nicknamed her Dennis." As in The Menace. Which oddly enough was my youngest brother's nickname whom she shares a birthday with. I'm so dreading the teenage years...
