Lusting For Leiber

I'm usually not the biggest fan of Judith Leiber's work. Not that it's not amazing it's just the whole bedazzled animal clutches are a little much for my tastes. I am crazy about this vintage 1970's wood clutch though. It sort of reminds me of the stock of a shotgun with the inlay and brass end plates.

I'm so with you on Ms. Leiber. Every time I see one I think "black tie Bar Mitzvah".

Your little find however is fierce.

I guess I have to return your Swarovski hedgehog I was going to give you as a push present.

Maybe not, you never know when you're going to have to attend a Black-Tie Bar Mitzvah.

I love that. I would totally carry that just doing my every day errands. Would I expect the bank to roll out a red carpet for me? Probably. But I kind of expect that anyway. ;)

The first thing I thought was that has to be a Leiber with it's little comb. I love little clutches. I actually have a Leiber and it's not at all like her bejeweled bags. I'll have to do a little post about it. One of the only good things my ex-husband ever bought me!
